In 1944, Peter Bodum started a small wholesale kitchen company in Copenhagen, specialising in glassware from Eastern Europe. In 1958 he launched a flagship range of coffee and tea makers with architecture, industrial and graphical design as driving forces and an iconic brand Bodum was born.
